Are there any resources.. videos.. out there that I can follow that might further clarify how to use the SALSA program?

That's a good idea (creating a youtube video) as that's how so many folks want to learn these days, but at this time we haven't done so. However the user manual examples, especially Example 1, walk through the process of using SALSA start to finish.
