Salsa Beat Machine for iPhone

Ever since I have created the Salsa Beat Machine, I get requests from
the users for an iPhone version.
This week, I have finally found the time to conduct a research and
understand what it takes to create an iPhone version of the Salsa Beat
Machine. I have also sent out a short survey, which has demonstrated
that there is a great interest in such an iPhone version of this tool.
Therefore, I have decided to go for it and create the desired iPhone
version of the Salsa Beat Machine. I hope to get an initial version
released within four weeks, and later to put it on the iTunes store so
that everyone can purchase it. In any case, I will post weekly
progress updates in this mailing list, to keep you all informed what's
going on.
It is also possible that I will release an early beta version to a
limited number of users, prior to releasing the public version, so if
anyone is interested please let me know. Any additional ideas you may
have - about the implementation, how to user interface would look
like, etc. are also very welcome.
