Updates about the iPhone Salsa Beat Machine

Dear mailing-list members,

There's been a lot going on since the last week: I have completed all
the formal procedures required for becoming an active apple iPhone
platform developer, and created the first alpha version of the iPhone
Salsa Beat Machine.

Yesterday I finally got a dedicated iPod Touch device for development,
and I have successfully installed the alpha version on it. It seems to
run pretty well - currently only with Cowbell, Clave, Congas and a
partial Piano instrument - I hope that next week we will have a more
complete version with all the instruments functioning and a better
looking user interface.

I plan to upload a short video clip showing the new Salsa Beat Machine
running on the iPhone, so stay tuned. After I will have completed the
required features, I will start running the beta program. Additional
information will be posted in this mailing list prior to starting the
beta program, so anyone who is interested in becoming a beta tester is
invited to subscribe here:
