Dear mailing list members,

I have spent a lot of time working on the Salsa Beat Machine this
week, so there are a lot of news:

1. I have just uploaded a short video showing the prototype version of
the Salsa Beat Machine for iPhone running on the iPod touch. The user
interface is still not very appealing - this is the next thing I'm
planning to work on before releasing the beta version. You can watch

2. I have created new sound samples for the piano and the bass
instruments, and also removed some artifacts from the instructor
instrument. The overall results should sound better and have a higher
quality, you are welcome to judge and give your feedback. You can see

3. I am looking for a name for the iPhone version of the Salsa Beat
Machine. I have already received a few promising suggestions from
Jason Ortiz. You can join the discussion here and help us selecting
the final name:

There's more coming on - a new innovation called the "Salsa Rhythm
Tool". I will send an update about this in the following days.
