Hi guys,
It's been a while since the last update - I attended the Israeli Salsa
Congress the last weekend, and since returning I have been sick (but
now feeling much better), so there's been a lot going since the last
update:
1. I have created a prototype version of the Salsa Beat Machine for
Android. It does not include all the features nor a pretty user
interface. Nevertheless, it's functional and can even be used in some
situations. Everyone who is interested can download it for free here:
http://www.SalsaBeatMachine.org/licensed/SalsaBeatMachine-android-r5372.apk
I have not tested it on a real device, only on a simulator - so I'd
love to get a feedback how it works on a real device.
2. Two new videos featuring the Salsa Beat Machine:

Machine, by instructor Joel Joel Dominguez

Beat Machine for iPhone during a rhythm class
3. The first beta version for the iPhone has been tested by our
community members, so far the feedback is good and we have created a
few sketches outlining the user interface of the final version. I am
now working on creating a second beta version, this time with the new
user interface built in.
Let's all keep having fun dancing and listening to the Latin rhythms,
Uri
