Hi Colleagues
I would like to know if is there anyone else having problems to access Poken information and/or the SA Specialist Programme?
I am communicating with SAT about problems to use my Poken and also to finish the SA Specialist programme (see the communication below). Unfortunately none of these things are working properly here, i.e. when I enter my username (e-mail) and password to access Indaba Connect (Poken) I receive a message informing that the username and password don not match (are incorrect) and when I try to retrieve my password (informing my e-mail address), it doesn't recognize my e-mail address. I receive a response saying that it “cannot send a password recovery e-mail”.
With regard to the SA Specialist programme, I am struggling to log on. Unfortunately, the website crashes and it does not take me anywhere!! I believe that maybe the SA Tourism website is overloaded (maybe many people are trying to access at the same time).
Please let me know if you are also having these problems, because I need to inform them by sending a list of all the user’s email addresses who are experiencing the same difficulties.
Warm regards,
Cacilda K. Kawagoe

Subject: Re: IT problems (Poken and Fundi)
Thanks for letting me know Monika.
Thank you for the email Cacilda. Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
We have had a few problems with the INDABA Connect devices that were distributed in bulk and not properly activated as part of the registration process. Not to worry, no data will be lost, and all we need to do is complete a simple activation.
I'll need to get a list of all the user's email addresses who are experiencing difficulties. Please could you send that over as soon as possible for us to work with from here - we'll reply with the needed logins and passwords for them to use and login with.
Bontle will advise on the SA Specialist side of things. I am not aware of any difficulties here, but perhaps it could be bandwidth related - I won't speculate. Please could I ask that you send a screenshot of the page that is hanging, and let me know what Internet Browser and version you are using? Once we have this detail, we'll be able to assist.
Thanks for letting us know, and apologies for the trouble this may have caused.
Looking forward to getting these resolved for you. Regards,

Dear Monika
I hope you are doing well that side! Unfortunately I could not meet you at Indaba.
Sorry to bother you, but I would like to have Ms Bontle Madiba’s e-mail address or someone responsible for Poken and/or SA Specialist programme (Fundi), because I am experiencing some problems to use my Poken and also to finish the programme. I was told that other colleagues are experiencing the same problem.
With regard to the SA Specialist programme, I would like to finish it as soon as possible, however I am struggling to log on. Unfortunately, the website crashes and it does not take me anywhere!! I believe that maybe the SA Tourism website is overloaded (maybe many people are trying to access at the same time).
I hope you will be able to assist me with Bontle‘s contact.
Your attention would be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards,

According with Ms Bontle Madiba most of the profiles of the people who registered on 10th of May during our training have had problems, but she told me that all the profiles were fixed on Friday and we should be able to complete the course. I have also notified Mr Maharaj, Mr Ahmeed and Amb Ngwevela about this situation, so I believe that they will consider it.
Ms Soyoung Lee (South Korea), told me that regarding the Fundi course, when she tried to login with the Explore, it was not working properly, maybe because the Explore version was lower than expected. Therefore, she tried with the other browser Google Chrome and then she could finalise it.
Sabine, with regard to POKEN, I will include your details in the list. May I inform your Dirco or Gmail e-mail address?
