We stalked the nights and drove terror into the hearts of men. Now we
cannot. We are what some would call 'outdated.' We were hunters, but
now we are the hunted. They have found a way to track, hunt, and kill
us. We are still powerful, but we dare not walk the night alone. Ours
is a dying race, and we are only mentioned in myths, legends, and
stories. We have to travel in small groups, otherwise we would be wiped
out. There are only a few of the old vampires left, and even they have
gone into hiding. The humans are getting more bold and are actually
running into large groups with reckless abandon, but we may kill those,
but they kill far more of us. Soon we shall be nothing. The humans will
walk the night, but we may still salvage our plight. Either we win or
we fall. We must gather together the groups, reunite the vampires, and
put fear back into the humans, otherwise we will become extinct....
