Can anyone help with info about Voacanga Seeds in Sierra Leone?
Existing research or known location of prevalence of trees would be very useful.

Voacanga seeds can be got from the shrub Voacanga africana which is normally found growing in swamps, particularly in the south and east of Sierra Leone.  It is an NTFP (non-timber forest product) of international significance since certain extractive obtained from the plant is used in eye surgery. It is one of NTFPs exported out of Sierra Leone years back.
