Peace to you all.
I wanted to let you all know that Julie's sister, Tammy, died this morning (Thursday, May 28th), in Rochester, MN, shortly before 7:00 am Mountain Time. Please keep Tammy's husband, Greg Vohs, and their girls, Mandy, Ally, and Holly, in your prayers; as well as her parents, Wayne & Sandy Johannes, and sisters Julie and Vicki.
As it stands now, we probably will not be able to make the funeral. We will be leaving today for Denver and will be there tomorrow, with our daughter Faith's surgery still scheduled for Tuesday, June 2nd. Depending on Faith's post-surgery recovery and follow-up exams, we most likely will try to make a trip from Colorado up to Minnesota to spend time with the family sometime after the funeral. So keep us in your prayers as we travel, as well.
I had wanted to restart the devotions last week, but time got away from me. With things the way they are now, I am setting the date of Tuesday, June 30th, as the return date for SOTV Devotions. In the meantime, I will periodically send out updates, for example, as to how Faith is doing.
