Good morning!
Here are the notes from yesterday evening's special trails meeting with the Alternate Mobility Committee. We had some great discussion about accessibility needs across the county and how we might be able to create a fund housed under Alternate Mobility at the county-level for donations and funding to land for maintenance needs for the Highway 93 south bike path.
Next steps will be attendance at the May 27th county commissioners meeting to propose the idea - JoAnn Wolters is already on the agenda, so is Steve, and I am available to attend as well. If anyone else feels like joining, let me know or just come to the Brooklyn that morning!
P.S. stay tuned for potentially some fun bike path events this summer - we're dreaming up some ideas with YEP & will at a minimum have some trash clean up days!
