to Sally's Sewing Circle
I would love to help with this project. Just to let all members know
- if you have a child or a grandchild interested in sewing I have the
answer - actually several! Give me about a week and start looking at
my Sally's Fabrics.com blog - I am doing projects for all ages:
8-100. And skill level - no skill level needed unless you want to do
embroidery - now that takes skill:) oh yeah, and quilting, that takes
skill too! As a side note, I also found out today that running a cash
register takes skill! Oh my goodness...I had a lady make a .98
purchase and I had to use my accounting degree to give her change.
I'm lucky I can even open the cash register drawer. I could never
figure out how to get the cash register to tell me how much change to
give this poor customer. Ha Ha. Next trial - my employees sent me to
the bank to make a deposit. Did anyone out there know that there was
a merchant teller line? Not me!! So when someone tells you that you
can run a business you really need to check out all the angles. Good
news: I can officially drape fabric like its supposed to be draped.
I only had to ask for assistance 5 times. Natalie my daughter thinks
this is hilarious. She's worked at Sally's for four years. I hope I
have provided each of you some humor today!
