As you will see from the above photo, Elsa is doing very well three weeks post surgery. She is in the middle and the lady on the left is Rocio's mom, Rosa Maria. Elsa had a valve replaced due to severe blockage. Thank God with me for the wonderful answer to our prayers! As we celebrated her birthday yesterday, I was brought to tears as Alberto offered a prayer because I remember Rocio telling me that when they went to see Elsa the morning of the surgery, she felt like they were possibly saying good bye to Elsa. The family was well aware of the possibility that she wouldn't make it through the surgery. She is also recovering without complications. Please say some special prayers for her as she has been a bit depressed lately. I am sure she is bored having to be housebound - she is a very active person!
