[Sally's Jubilee] Wedding News

I received an email from a dear friend (thanks Tom) that inspired this blog.  I don't want to totally plagiarize his email so I have redone it a bit, but the basics are the same.

With the international coverage of the royal wedding, it reminds us who are believers in Scripture of a future Wedding Supper - and we are all invited!!  In the book of Revelation, chapter 19, we read: 
                            "Then I heard what sounded like a great multitude, 
                             like the roar of rushing waters and like loud peals of
                             thunder, shouting: 


                            "Hallelujah! For the Lord God Almighty reigns.
                             Let us rejoice and be glad and give Him glory!
                             For the wedding of the Lamb has come,
                             and his bride has made herself ready.  
                             Fine linen, bright and clean, was given to her to wear.
                             (Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of the saints)


                             Then the angel said to me, 'Write: Blessed are those who 
                              are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!'
Just think, WE are invited to this wonderful event!  I can hardly wait!  The Bible also says that all are invited but not so many will accept the invitation which saddens me.  But, the joy for those who do accept His invitation is without limit!
