[Sally's Jubilee] Angels watching over me...

Just the other day I was out trying to find a place where I could get my floor steamer repaired but I passed the place up, so I pulled off the very busy road I was on and decided to back up to the place which was about 25 feet behind us.  Well, we got abut 10 feet back when bam!! - the car lunged back and I realized the front of the car was facing up toward the sky!  You guessed it, I had backed into a huge hole which was covered from my view (but who was looking???!!)  by a grass mound in front of the hole.  It was difficult even getting out of the car (which you will see by the photos)  but when I was able to get out several of the people who lived near this hole came out and began to offer help.  I was sure the car was so deep in that it was going to take something more than just pushing the car out as the driver side rear tire was in the hole and the passenger side front tire was about 10 inches up in the air.  But, three wonderful guys came to my aid and got the car out!  Thank God! And, of course, I thanked the three that helped me.   Plus there was only minor damage to the rear bumper.  I can just envision all those angels on top of my car: "Well, here she goes again, let's take care of her!!"  And this reminds me of another time I had a similar incident happen about two years ago.  I was driving my daughters car (sorry Mykal, I can't remember if I ever told you I had this accident in your car!!) and ended up in a small hole with the front tire wedged in. Well, as I stood there, frustrated and stomping my feet, wondering what to do next (there is no Triple A to call here!) four guys appeared out of nowhere, lifted the car out of the hole then....disappeared!  I was never able to even thank them!  To this day I don't know where they came from or where they went!!  A street worker came and saw my dilemma and apologized for not putting a warning sign up where he had made the hole as it was not visible to anyone driving by until too late.  He had gone to look for a sign when I got stuck.  He never saw the four "guys" who helped me.  When I have told this story to different people, they always have the same reaction: "Angels!  Angels came and helped you!"  Could it be?  I will never know in this lifetime, but maybe in the future I can ask about this incident.  At least the other day I could thank the three very special men who helped me without even asking for anything in return.  This is one of the reasons why I feel so safe here - I definitely feel that God has some very hard-working, special angels watching over me.  Tell me what you think??   

P.S.  Thanks, Ciara, for taking the photos for me and I apologize for calling you a brat when you started taking them!!  I am glad you were with me and didn't freak out when this happened!!

Wow!  Another escapde with your car.  So glad you and your car are safely out of the hole.
