[Sally's Jubilee] Birthdays, Halloween...family!

Well, I have been in Illinois since October 14th and am here for the greatest of times.  Samantha and Elizabeth (my twin granddaugters pictured above) turned 12 on the 29th and also on the 29th my oldest son Steve and his wife Heidi held their famous Halloween party.  This year they dressed up with costumes matching each other, and of, course, their dog Kobe)  If you don't get it, it's because I didn't really get a good shot of Kobe who is the hot dog; Steve and Heidi are there to make him better!  The decorations, the food, everything was fantastic!  Like I said as I started out with this post, I am so happy to be here during this time when some pretty neat family things are happening.  When I was here last July/August, Samantha, Elizabeth and I celebrated their birthday because I had already decided that I was not going to be able to afford to come back two months later.  But, God had a different plan, so here I am!  A dear friend of mine needed help with caring for her husband, so she helped pay for the airfare and has been feeding me and has given me a place to stay, plus the use of her car whenever I want to visit with family and friends.  I am also hoping that my daughter Mykal and my grandson Silence will be able to make it for a visit from NY over Thanksgiving...that would be the icing on the cake!   I hope I hear from more of you so we can see each other before I leave on November 30th!!
