Tibetan Buddhism has been of great benefit to me personally as well as those I subsequently interact with so I am compelled to ask all that may wish to be of support consider reading this and with a few simple keystrokes send off pre-composed letters to your legislators in support of peoples of Tibet and their culture. Thank you so much! Be well, Don
Tibetans inside Tibet need your voice to be heard in Washington! I invite you to join us in speaking out for Tibet as part of Tibet Lobby Day 2014.
On March 31-April 1, Tibetan-Americans and Tibet supporters from around the country will come to Washington, DC to meet with their Senators and Representatives. The International Campaign for Tibet is hosting the sixth annual Tibet Lobby Day in collaboration with other Tibet support groups and Tibetan Associations in the United States.
Help us amplify our message during Tibet Lobby Day 2014 by e-mailing your
Senators and Representatives.
His Holiness the Dalai Lama visited Congress earlier this month, and was warmly received. We owe him our best efforts to follow up with concrete requests for Tibet that Congress can support.
Tibet Lobby Day is also to demonstrate that Tibet is a constituent issue. Facing the well-funded lobbying might of the Chinese Embassy, it is critical for us to let our elected representatives know of the breadth and depth of support for the cause of Tibet.
I hope you will take a few moments to contact your representatives on behalf of Tibet on March 31st and April 1st.
Thank you,
Todd Stein
