Sakura Jutsus

This post will contain evidence in picture format directly from the manga Naruto (1999 - 2014) created by Masashi Kishimoto and published by Shueisha in 1999. I will also use information from the official databooks of Naruto.

In this informative post will explain all the jutsu that Sakura Haruno has used in canon, meaning this will only include techniques that the author of the manga and the novels, illustrated by Kishimoto, have given her.

Stamina is accomplished by mixing mental and physical energies together, and it is the energy that fuels any kind of jutsu, with chakra or without chakra. These mental energies are different from the Yin and Yang Release.

The amount of stamina is proportionate to the number of jutsu the user can perform. This means that the more stamina the ninja possesses, the greater the repertoire of jutsu attacks and the more quantity there will be to transform into chakra, and, therefore, into a jutsu.

Sakura is known for having outstanding chakra control. Despite not being initially blessed with great amounts of stamina, Sakura is able to blend her mental and physical energies together to mold chakra efficiently.

Her stamina is directly linked to her proficiency in hand seals. This is why, despite not having a high statistic of stamina or ninjutsu, Sakura is able to learn techniques that require kneading chakra and perform them without any difficulty through hand seals.

The third databook describes stamina as the foundation of chakra and the hand seals as the knowledge in that art, the medium in which a jutsu is performed and the proficiency in executing said techniques.

Chakra reserves, or the stamina required to perform jutsus, are increased with time and training. Even still below average, in only two years, Sakura had enough stamina to use taijutsu and medical ninjutsu in a battle, all the while she was storing chakra for the Strength of a Hundred Seal (Byakugō no In).

Sakura spent three years limiting her chakra reserves to less than her original capacities because she was directing a quantity of her total supply inside of what would become the Byakugō no In.

The art of ninjutsu is the molding of stamina, the transformation in chakra and its release through hand seals. This result is called a technique, or jutsu. There are different types of ninjutsu, like elemental techniques based on Fire, Wind, Lightning, Earth and Water; or basic ninjutsu taught in the Academy. There are also more advanced types of techniques like Medical Ninjutsu.

SHURIKENJUTSU (?-rank, ?):
It is the ability to throw shuriken, kunai or even senbon. This discipline is taught in the Academy. Shurikenjutsu could be used for distraction in battle, fighting or in emergencies, like Sakura pinning Naruto to a tree to prevent him from falling.

TRANSFORMATION TECHNIQUE (E-RANK, Supplementary):
This jutsu allows the user to transform into another person, animal, object, weapon or plant for intelligence gathering or more. The ninja that uses this technique needs to be experienced in its use in order to be able to deceive the enemy.

During the events of Sasuke Retsuden, Sakura uses it to transform into Fandal, the secretary of the Prime Minister that is visiting Redaku. She meets with Zansul in the place of Fandal to get information about the Astronomical Map and their whereabouts.

BARRIER BOOBY TRAPS (?-RANK, Offensive):
There is no official definition for this barrier-type jutsu, but using explosive tags, logs or kunai, a series of traps are laid on a certain area to capture the enemy once they have crossed the perimeter.

FIRE RELEASE (?-rank, ?):
Although Sakura has elemental jutsu in her sleeve, like Water and Earth, she does not use them in battle. However, she has used Fire Release as an adult during the infiltration in the Astronomical Institute in Sasuke Retsuden.

SENSING TECHNIQUE (?-rank, ?):
This jutsu allows the user to knead chakra in order to sense the enemy. Non sensor-types can use sensing techniques. For this reason, Sakura developed her own technique using her unique chakra control to map buildings and structures. This technique only applies to her.

Sakura can summon Katsuyu, the giant slug from the Shikkotsu Forest. This summon is directly linked to the Byakugō no In and cannot be achieved without the seal. Sakura completes the new Three-Way Deadlock together with Naruto and Sasuke with this technique.

Moreover, Katsuyu acts as a message relay summon thanks to this jutsu, like a network that connects people. Her ability to create multiple clones allows her to be in more than one place at the same time, sharing messages with an unlimited width range.

MEDICAL NINJUTSU
Medical Ninjutsu is a branch of ninjutsu dedicated to the restoration or repair of any damage produced in the body by pouring and using chakra to accelerate the process of healing.

By age 16, Sakura was already top 3 in medical ninjutsu, behind Tsunade and Shizune and, by the time of the war, she was considered a jōnin level medic-ninja. Sakura is currently the best medic-ninja in the series and she is the Head of the Medical Department and the Director of the Hospital in the current events.

This technique is taught to aspiring medic-ninjas to help them develop their chakra control. Due to her proficiency in chakra control from an early age, Sakura rapidly grasped the secrets of this technique.

In order to be effective, Sakura poured healing chakra through her fists while she was attacking Kido Tsumiki, who was covered by Tailed-Beast chakra. This cloak provides healing properties, so, to weaken this shield, Sakura healed the cells that the chakra cloak was already healing after her attacks, creating a disruption in his body from cell over replication and killing them.

The medic must detect the exact position of the venom substance, cut the area open with the chakra scapel and then heal the body from the outside while extracting the toxin. These three techniques used at the same time make this surgery very difficult to perform, depending on the gravity of the patient.

It requires precise chakra control in order to disrupt the flow of chakra and break it. Moreover, if the victim does not have access to a dōjutsu, it requires intelligence in order to be able to identify it.

The ability to seal techniques, living beings, chakra or weapons inside a sealing technique, scroll or a variety of things. Sealing techniques are also placed on other people to limit their abilities. Their origin is surrounded by mystery.

YIN SEAL:RELEASE (S-rank, Supplementary):
In order to unleash the power of the Byakugō no In, the user can cast the sign of the tiger in order to release the seal and use its power. The use of this jutsu is optional, as Tsunade and Sakura can use the chakra stored inside without the hand seals.

This technique is separate from the Creation Rebirth and its release with Yin Seal:Release because the regeneration technique and the enhanced power provided by the chakra inside the seal are used together for a period of time.

The art of taijutsu is the molding of stamina for physical exertion. The proficiency in taijutsu depends on the training and strength of the ninja rather than in the chakra or chakra control. Taijutsu is mainly a game of attack and evasion.

The high level of this technique makes Sakura and Tsunade the only ninjas to be able to infuse their body with chakra to attack. Her signature jutsu, the Cherry Blossom Impact, combines the chakra control of medical ninjutsu but on a more advanced level, releasing the power all at once in one strike.

Sakura is an all-around ninja and the most versatile kunoichi of the series. She is also the strongest kunoichi, able to use multiple jutsu styles, among them are ninjutsu, genjutsu, taijutsu, kinjutsu and fūinjutsu.

Sakura was quickly promoted to jōnin after the war and she is the only kunoichi of her generation to achieve this rank. She inherited the power of a Kage and a legendary Sannin, eventually surpassing those titles. She is still an active shinobi, not only going on missions but also heading the Medical Department and working as the main medic-ninja for Konoha, on top of being the best healer in the world.

The good stuff; being said Sakura could indeed beat Itatchi for quite a solid majority if shes fighting competently though. She can tank the effects of and escape all his Genjutsu except Koto, aim dodge his Amaterasu, and easily counter his Susanoo with Katsuyu if not simply break it herself.

Itachi would have to be fighting pretty carelessly for him to lose. Sakura can't dispel generic sharingan genjutsu without a secondary partner. Has she any feats for doing so anyway? Aim dodging Amaterasu can only take you so far, and the only one who has actually accomplished it throughly is the Raikage, and his speed far surpasses hers. The only version of Susanoo she's breaking are the early skeletal stages and Itachi could really oneshot with a single magatama bead.

Why cant she? The seal is a locked away separate body of chakra that would constantly disrupt her chakra flow when active. Sakura has several Genjutsu feats just off the top of my head and even a pretty high end one as a Kid in the Chuunin exams. Nothing but his highend Genjutsu has a chance of effecting her.

Itatchi isnt as proficient in Amaterasu as Sasuke and its noted he has to charge chakra in his eyes to do so; not to mention it's not really effective against people who have knowledge on it, is she just going to watch him build the chakra? And is Itatchi simply going to bust out a move he knows he has to use Sparingly?
