Dear all,

I have been talking a bit with Holta and Pjerin, and they both agreed
we should do a project together so we can know each other better and
party longer.:) What do you think about this?
How do you think we should do it and when?
Are all our countries elligible for an itinerant youth exchange,
because this I think would be the greatest option to have the
opportunity to know each others' country. Those of you who know the
conditions and have ideas please share with us. I will have to check
the guide again.

Alla, Natasha, Tiago, Visar, Lena, Ana, Sebahattin, Mehmet, Luis,
Natalyia, Eldir, Driton, Dragos, Ioana, Alex, Uljana, Constantin,
Mike, Gerta, Joao, Morena, Andre, Ermir, Giuseppe, Ivan, Millica,
Nada, Mauro, Antonio etc.etc.etc.etc.etc.etc. what dou you think about
this?

The project I have applied for on the 1st of April has been approved
so I am very motivated at the moment and you should take advantage of
that:)

All interested participants can gather their ideas on a certain
subject for the project, plan it, and one of the organisations could
apply for it at the local agency. It can be Romania of course, but
also another country.
Share your ideas and wishes! The next deadlines are the 1st of June
and 1st of November. We could choose the 1st of November and plan the
project for May-June-July 2011.

Hugs,

Anna

Salut Natalia, o sa scriu in engleza, sper ca e ok:)
We can establish the theme/subject of the project together. Everyone
should come with ideas, maybe someone already has a project which
hasn't been approved or who wants to apply for one. We should share
our ideas and then come to a final solution. It would be great!!!

I want to help and participate in this new project too, if my EVS gets approved I will have plenty of time to work on that.

We need to come with a subject, aims and objectives, target group, countries and place.

And please, talk in english.

I agree on all that Tiago:)

We already have Albania, Moldova, Serbia and Romania. Who else is
interested?
Tiago, can you recommend a subject? After we know what countries would
like to participate we should know which action to take and then
establish the subject, aims and know also the place etc. We have to
adapt these to the target group which is us and our countries and
communities.

Fuuun!

Hey,

There are a lot of us! GREAT! What about Turkey, Portugal, Italy???

But please come with ideas regarding what Tiago and me said in the
first posts.

1. Should we apply for the 1st of November?

2. Which country should apply at their local agency?

3. Which action should we take into consideration?

4. What should be the subject of the project?

5. Depending on the action we will choose, where will the project take
place?

6. When will the project take place?

After we figure these things out, we can talk about the target group,
aims and objectives and so on.

This will be the greatest YIA project ever!!!!:)

Love,

Anna

Dear Anna,
of course I agree to this project, I am not very expert in youth exchange but I'll try to write something with you all.
About the country I don't know for Italy, I have to talk with my Associacion "CEIPES" that I know and took part only since 1 month :(
But I'll need your help to understand how to organize all cause for me youth exchage is a new experience and a new world!
I'll share all my ideas to make possible the aim...count me surely!
Many kisses
Mauro

Hello everyone,

For those of you who don't really know much about the Youth in Action
programme and Youth Exchanges I have uploaded the English guide (you
can find it at FILES in the group) so you can make an idea about what
it is all about: pages 5-29 - general information,
pages 30-39 - Youth Exchanges
After this, you can understand some concepts and how a project has to
be prepared, and maybe you can come up with ideas.

Some other useful information can be found on the websites mentioned
in the Guide on page 145 - Annex 3
Except tools for energizers for example, or methods which are applied
for certain subjects (for example certain games for eliminating
prejudices), you can also find project descriptions of organisations
which are looking for partners, workshops and trainings you can apply
for to become acquainted with YIA or certain types of actions. Just
browse through the web pages, the amount of information is huge.
Visit also the website of your national agency. You can find the links
to the national agencies' websites also in the guide starting page
127.

If you want to know more about how to implement an exchange, or about
the YIA programme, inform your organisation and ask them to help you
apply for workshops. Workshops are held by the national agency in your
country, but also by other agencies in other countries.

Am awaiting your ideas. I have also attached the call for partners for
my project in July so you can have an idea.

If you have questions please post them. It would be a pitty to leave
our motivation only at a level of desire without materializing it into
a project.

Take care,

Anna

My first idea was: why not continue this project but on other
countries and with other approaches.

From what I know this project is a project that the turkish team has
been doing for some time and want to continue doing but what if we
start the circular movement of the YE between the other countries? But
for that I need more info about the turkish team and their future
wishes for the project. Mehmet, do you know anything?

Anyway, this sport topic and YE it's a simple one, the big advantage
of the Ye wa have been, from my point of view, is the interaction of
the participants in a local community event (19th of day) and that has
a big weight in the application form when it's approved.

Maybe we can do something similar and try to improve the project,
adding more sport activities and workshops, for example, something
that everyone wanted and complained there were missing.

Hi Tiago,

The project idea is cool and good in my eyes. But the real question is the possibility of acceptance
of the same idea by different NAs in your countries. So you will decide,if you keep the same project idea or
will create a new project.

Greetings,

Mehmet

Hey Tiago,

the idea is really good. How can we verify the possibility of
acceptance by different national agencies?

Best wishes,

Hey guys!

I totally agree with Tiago's Idea. I didn't want to express myself cause i thought there would be some more different ideas and in this moment I don't have any =), but now i can =)

Continuing a project about sports sounds great for me!
Maybe, every country can have one whole day for some workshops about their national sports (like the workshop we had) and then for us to try to practise that sport for the rest of the days, maybe make some contest or something... also, there can be included some games we played when we were young... like stone, scissors, paper etc. and some more "sportish" ones with running, hiding and so on...=)
Later, we can discuss and see the differences and similarities between all of them...
I'd love to try to practise many of those u presented that day during our workshop...

And what's cool, u don't need special fields or playces for those sports, we can use some bigger room or so...

Or...

we can just make some exchange with some topic about photography =) as i could see, in those 10 days most of us were rushing around with cameras trying to take some profi pics =)))

(And place... It can be Serbia... Kovacica =D  playing seek and hide there... Tiago, how do u like that idea? =))

love u guys!

So since no one came up with another idea, what do you think about
Tiago's idea for the project?
We should start working on that.

Good morning guys!!
Thanks Anna for uploaded the guide :D I'm going to download it!
About Tiago's ideas I agree totally..
We can work on the project and have like first aim the sport but not only in theory!
I think that many guys (maybe all) in Salihili wanted to play some sport every day, but we hadn't a real moment of practing sports..only just dancing for the parade!
We can organize some football matches, free running, volleybal, basketball...and do for each day of project some tipical game or sport of the countries partecipants, as Anna said before me.
A little like in Salihili but with practice, not only explaining!I think sport isn't a book, or something to discuss, but sport is to do, to play!
P.S. Miss u a lot!!!
Cheers,
Mauro Schembri

First at all i agree about the idea of Tiago and Mauro, this could be very good.
Second I support the Mauro that sport is not in the books, but sport we can do in pratice and than to discuss what was the meaning of that.
Very good to you ideas, i can say i just love it.
Now is the time to work on those ideas.

Hello everyone!
I think both of the ideas suggested seem great. most of us really missed some sport in Salihli, others are so fond of photography :D (and it would be great to combine pleasure with hardworking activities that could bring results important for us and not only)
but a have a kind of problem. we represented our countries in Salihli and the NGOs we are volunteering at. so, the question is, what are exactly those NGOs. maybe we could find several ideas from this field as well?

best regards for all of you.... still missing you.

Hey guys,

Hope you are all good, whether having exams, working, doing projects
or other stuff!!!:)
Has anyone read the guide I have uploaded?

What about your project ideas? Any other?
I agree with both ideas, sports or photography, I would like to do
them both. Maybe we can combine them?

Let us make a decision until June the 30th. Everyone should share her/
his opinion and then we can choose what the majority has decided.
After that we have 4 months left for organising, writing etc.

So, let's keep this topic flowing!!! No daily "business" has to come
in our way for doing that.
We should keep going now, as long as our motivation is still related
to our great experience in Turkey!:)

Hope to hear from all of you soon!!!

Lots of love,
