There will be a Eucharistic Celebration on Sunday 4th April 2010 at 3:30 pm
followed by the last rites and burial at St. Ines Church, Panjim. A bus
will be
leaving from Ararim, Saligao (outside Cantare) at 2.30 pm. to St. Ines
and back.

Actually, I plagiarised that term for Auntie Florie from that old country&western, "Home on the Range," which is on youtube even though so ancient.
"Oh give me a home,

and the sky is not cloudy all day."
My Mom (soon to be 90) often sang 'Home on the Range' while she was in her kitchen, draining the rice in Uganda in the 1960s. She would stand singing, with the pan (sufriya) over her shoulder, letting the last few drops of water run out so she could feed the hungry masses! Another great lady, no doubt.
There is a glitch of sorts with saligaonet: I think I only get a portion of its mail through my Hotmail account address. Strange. I shall have to start cheching out google groups now- something I didn't think I needed to do (and shouldn't have to).
Lets see whether this post appears in my hotmail...

Definitely there was a glitch as I thought Saligaonet was "dead" for a while as I received nothing in my mailbox except for the silly spam messages. Probably those were the cause for the glitch. Thank goodness Rico did his job as usual ...and he did apologise.....Was on the verge of asking Rico if he had written me off but then got the mail.
So dont worry, I doubt there was any partiality in the filtering mechanism.....nobody has been singled out or perhaps everybody had been singled out
....for a while.Loved reading everybody's thoughts on A.Flory.....
Dilip, your "Home on the Range" and "sufriya" brought back fond memories of Dar & of course as I mentioned earlier, we did know the Cordeiro family through the 1950's and thereafter....school, college, Saligao.
