Impacts on the application on version upgrades

Hi All ,

On our Organization we are asked to update our old code base by modifying the code and upgrading the version with the new API versions. As part of that i want to know what could be the impacts by doing this. By upgrading the version of the class do we end up with any issues with the functionality. Can someone shed some light on these version upgrades.

Hi Krishna,

They will be some impacts. If you are Integrating with any systems Like Big Machines or any other Third Party vendors you need to see if There versions of the installed Packages will support the latest Apex versions or not. In my Org BM 4.11 versions are not supported for the Higher Version of the classes.

I suggest before Changing the version it is good to inform them and take their suggestions.
