Job Title: UX Researcher (Junior)

Location: Remote (USA)

Job Description:

We are seeking a Junior UX Researcher with strong experience in usability testing, qualitative research, and human-centered design. The candidate will work closely with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to deliver actionable insights that improve user experience.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Define research goals in ambiguous, early-stage product environments

  • Conduct usability testing (moderated & unmoderated)

  • Develop research plans, discussion guides, and testing protocols

  • Perform heuristic evaluations, task analysis, and survey design

  • Translate research findings into actionable insights and design recommendations

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, Engineering)

  • Advocate for user needs and influence product decisions

  • Present research insights to stakeholders

  • Apply accessibility standards and UX best practices


Required Skills:

  • 1–3 years of UX Research / User Research experience

  • Strong experience in qualitative research methods

  • Hands-on with:

    • Usability Testing (Remote & In-person)

    • Persona Creation & Journey Mapping

    • Co-creation Workshops

  • Experience with tools:

    • UserTesting / UserZoom

    • Contentsquare / Medallia / Pendo

  • Understanding of Human-Centered Design (HCD)

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills


Nice to Have:

  • Healthcare domain experience

  • Experience with Figma or prototyping tools

  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG)


Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Psychology, HCI, Behavioral Science, Anthropology, or related field
