Infrastructure Optimization and Tuning
Microsoft Azure
Role Description:
· Systems Administration – Strong experience managing Windows server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP
· Assist with or manage on-premises to cloud migration initiatives, particularly involving Microsoft Azure.
· Infrastructure & Virtualization – Hands-on experience with VMware (vSphere/ESX), virtual machine deployment, and system maintenance
· Performance Optimization – Ability to monitor, analyze, and tune system performance to ensure reliability and efficiency
· Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution – Advanced problem-solving skills across Windows, Linux, and enterprise applications
· Backup & Recovery Management – Experience maintaining and executing backup and disaster recovery procedures
· Server & Storage Management – Experience with blade servers and SAN storage solutions (e.g., EqualLogic)
· Technical Support & Collaboration – Ability to support help desk escalations and collaborate across IT teams
· Standards & Process Management – Establish and maintain technical standards, procedures, and best practices
· All the servers have been migrated to Microsoft Azure, and only a limited number of servers remain on premises. Therefore, the person should have knowledge and experience in Azure administration.
