Job Description :

 

Senior Role - Cloud Governance and Operations   

 

Creating and Managing Cloud Services Governance (Policies, Procedures & Processes), developing metrics, Azure administration, automation, driving audit & compliance, senior Azure technical resource, reporting are the key deliverables of this position.  
 
This challenging role will involve Azure Governance, Operations and Automation which include following: 

 
- Strong experience in Cloud Security 

 

- Strong experience in Cloud Cost Management 

 

- Strong Tagging and Policy Management 

 

- Strong Creating Alerts & Dashboards 

 

- Experience on Cloud automation languages and tools

 

- Strong audit and compliance experience 

 

- Strong Communication skills 

 

- Knowledge of FinOps Cloud governance and security practices 

 

- Asset Management , Technical Writing and Risk Management 
 
- Quality processes & procedures 
 
- BCDR and DR tests governance 
 
- Team management and must win attitude in matrix organization 
 
 
Work Experience: Minimum Work Ex. Required 
 
5 to 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure and  Cloud infrastructure operations
 
Technical Skills and Capabilities (Primary - Must have) 
 
- 5 to 10 years of experience in Azure administration , automation and Cloud Governance 
 
-  Experience in Azure Compute, SQL database ,Network, Storage & Disaster Recovery (DR)

 

-  Strong knowledge and experience in Azure Security and Identity services

 

- Should have worked on Azure Policy design and implementation

 

- Should have worked on automation using JSON Templates, Python, PowerShell

  and Terraform

 

- Design and Implementing New Azure Services like Backup Vaults, Recovery Service Vaults,   

  Operation Management Suites, Cost Estimation and Efforts.

 

- Good knowledge of networking devices/appliances (DNS, Firewall, Routers)

 

- Agile scrum experience preferred (Scaled Agile a bonus) 

 

- Should have worked in process mature production environments handling 24x7 support 

 

- Superior communication skills (writing/speaking/comprehension)
