Carlie, This sounds fun, I talked to someone last week about it and gave him contact info for the salem bicycle club. I will forward to others who may be interested. check out the salem bicycle forum,  http://www.salembicycleclub.org/forum/ or I can post your email there for you if you want. The happy riders would be a great group for this, many of them showed up in costume for breakfast on bikes. I'll tell my friends and get to work on my misunderstood witch of the west costume. Leslie Venti gave me your email when I inquired about someone in the know on the Bike community of Salem :)

 

My name is Carlee...I believe we have met on a previous occassion...I work with The Culture Shock Community Project and lead the organization for the 13 Nights of Halloween event. Anyway, we are interested in having some type of bike event as part of the 13 Nights...we were thinking a costumed bike ride, where the riders dress up themselves, and their bike is included as part of the costume (like someone with a blue bike could be Babe the Blue Ox...or red bike could be Clifford the Big Red Dog, etc.) Each of our events has a community partner, and we are looking for a bike group, or bikers, who would be interested in helping out.

 

Maybe you can help me with a lead?
