A bill is moving through the Oregon legislature that would create an
exemption in our state's Endangered Species Act and allow for shoot-on-
sight killing of our state's small population of wolves. Please take a
moment to write to your local State Senator and tell them you oppose
the killing of innocent wolves:

Whats there reasoning for it?

It's mainly the Oregon Cattlemen's Association pushing for the
elimination of wolves, since there are cases of wolves attacking
livestock. Though wolves are actually very low on the list of threats
to cattle, with poisonous plants being at the top.
