There is a person. A human being with thoughts and feelings. They have
gone through hardships. They may not be the same as what you have
personally gone through but just because yours sounds worse, does not
mean it is. A majority of folks may agree that yours sounds worse. But
you cannot measure a person's life. You cannot say that theirs was
less devastating if their wounds are just as deep, perhaps deeper.

You are a person. You are a human. While it is fun to pretend, while
it is wonderful to be furry and acquire so many unique friends that
perhaps understand you better than most, we should all accept that
behind every fursona (however exotic and creative some may be), is
someone like yourself. Someone that has thoughts, and feelings, and
troubles, and a real life, and dramatic friends (or perhaps is the
dramatic one).

So don't be fake. Don't like the fursona and reject the human being
behind it. Don't be a temporary or a conditional friend. And for God's
sake, your furries. Stop judging each other. Don't we get that enough
from the rest of the world? If you don't agree with someone, be mature
and walk away. Don't slander their name, don't ruin their friendships,
don't ruin the safety they built themselves inside the fandom.

Be an adult. Take into consideration that every action does have a
consequence, and every thing you do does take a toll on someone else.
Someone like you.

This is me. I'm not different, I'm not special. I am an average girl,
you see hundreds just like me walking down the street every day. Be
who you are. Accept who you are, and accept someone else for who they
are, or walk away. Don't do things you, as a human being, will have to
live with and regret or feel guilt over every day for the rest of your
life. Be kind to one another.

And y'know what? It's late. I don't give a rat's dirty bum how cheesy
I sound. I'd just rather see folks embrace who they are, for their
perfections and their imperfections, and I'd like to see them treating
each other better as well.
