would be better if there was some kind of tension adapter that goes across the wheels to help tire chains better stay in place.

Unfortunately the chains themselves fall into the space between the lugs of the tires leaving you no better off than you were. guess I need to modify them somehow. Something diaginal would have been better but alas no pictures were shown. Assumed that Deep Lug meant that they were meant for tires with Deep lugs. The jokes on me.
