Hi Veena,

 

If u r travel enthusiast then u can find many places to visit.

 

1. Killa baugh (it’s a garden around the fort built by Mughals)
2. Chaar Putla (statues of 4 freedom fighters who were hanged by britishers)
3. Bhagwat Talkies (Asia’s first multiplex)
4. Corporation building (historic)
5. Siddheshwar temple (most of its part is built on a lake)
6. Swami Samarth temple at Akkalkot
7. Don’t forget to taste Paani Puri (at park chowpati near killa baugh), Bhagyashri Wada, Swastik’s Kunda (Kunda is a special sweet known to be a solapuri product) and Dhaval’s Sugandhi Doodh (near Siddheshwar temple)
8. Saat rasta (7 cross roads) and hotel tripusundari adjacent to it
9. For shopping – visit Navi Peth or Raymond/Meera Silk House at park chowk
10. Soregaon water plant

 

U may not find 3, 8 & 9 very special but u may give it a try. Please feel free to contact me if u or anyone in this group need/needs any help/information.
