Hey everyone

I've just released Sal 3.0.0 beta 1. As with all beta software, I would appreciate through testing, but please only test on data you can afford to loose - there are lots of database changes. More information on what's changed can be found in the release notes on GitHub. Please report all issues, and remember that you can get an immediate response from me (time zones permitting) on the macadmins.org slack in #sal

Special thanks goes out to Shea Craig for his work in completely re-writing the inventory section - he did awesome work in this.

I cannott get a single client to check in:

...
    Getting client resources...
Checking Apple Software Update catalog...
    Skipping Apple Software Update check because sucatalog is unchanged, installed Apple packages are unchanged and we recently did a full check.
Finishing...
    Performing postflight tasks...
Done.

Running latest Sal with Scripts 2.0.0

sh-3.2# defaults read /Library/Preferences/com.github.salopensource.sal.plist
{
    BasicAuth = 1;
    ServerURL = "http://54.163.182.88";
    SkipFacts =     (
    );
    SyncScripts = 1;

}

Running Sal in Docker on AWS - is there a specific port that needs to be opened to allow clients to check in?

Just whichever port Sal is running on. You should look at the debug output you get when running munki with the -vvv option for more clues.

Please gist the full output of a munki run with -vvv. Something isn't right there.
