Apologies for missing yesterday's report, I was unable to get it done in time.
Today, we're very close to cutting RC5. It's been 11 days since RC4, and a fair amount of important work has been done, including bringing sparsemap up to 1.0 (and actually 1 fix beyond that) and working through some important security fixes on the front end. As well, for logistical reasons the project now has its own forks of sparesemap and solr.
The plan now is to finish reviewing the pending merges, smoke test the last few changes a bit more, cut an RC, and bug bash, hopefully tomorrow (possibly at 1:30 Eastern, but Kent will announce).
