What to use this group for

Last year we (mentors + students) used a group to keep in touch, ask
questions, co-ordinate, let Sakai see what we were doing, and group
mentor. We did it partly to avoid saturating the general lists, but
it also made sense because two of the projects had quite a lot in
common, and all three students were remote.

This year, we have three quite different projects and two students
(Cyrille and Maria) who will be spending at least part of the GSoC
program on site with their mentors.

So, use this group if it feels appropriate, but if another channel
makes more sense go ahead and use that. Please use the blog to let
Sakai know what you're doing - I'll get it promoted in the newsletter,
and maybe you'll get syndicated to Planet Sakai:)
