We are immensely grateful to Bhagawan for bringing us all together for the Akhanda Rudram (24-hours of Rudram chanting) offered at HIS lotus feet for world peace. Kindly note the following details about the event and preparation.
Event will start on Jan 12 at 6 AM with 21 OMs, Suprabhatam, Ganapati Seersham followed by Ekadasarudram. With the exception of beginning and closing prayers, the following is the standard format that will be followed throughout the day: Gananam Tva, Pranodevi, Ekadasarudram, Durgasukatam, Sairudram, and kshama prardhana.

All are requested to:
- kindly familiarize and learn Sairudram: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FuQInLuIZqU
- be present for each full cycle of chanting which will be ~3 hours
- bring their own water bottle (no plastic please) or any other comfort needs (including a comforter if you intend to rest)
- follow modest attire and dress etiquette that is appropriate for a spiritual event (example, no shorts, tank tops)
- not to eat or feed in the chanting area
- observe silence, if not chanting
- to ensure children are supervision of parents and help minimize disturbance to the offering
