in the Ubuntu terminal to go to that folder. Note, the first / before mnt and remember that in Ubuntu file and folder names are case sensitive. So wamp64, WAMP64, wAmP64, and WaMp64 are 4 different folders! In Linux partitions (Windows calls them "drives" to confuse us) are mounted in folders generally called "mount points". So in WSL, the "C Drive" is mounted in the c folder inside /mnt folder. /mntis a folder within which other folders are created for the purpose of mounting various partitions. After some serious thought, I have to combine some of the aspects from my previous attempts and add some new. For one, the job-specific local .sqlite database only contains information about the files and folders already backed up, and the job settings that you can export and import as a faile is stored in Duplicati-server.sqlite.
The database keeps Windows paths in Windows format (including drive letter). Metadata is also different, however finer points (e.g. NTFS ACLs) might not matter. This definitely seems an awkward arrangement.
I installed Audacity 2.4.2 from the Software Centre and had the same problem - I then spotted a Permissions button on the Software Centre page for Audacity which allowed me to enable access for removable media - this then gave me read/write access to my 2nd Hard drive.
/proc is a virtual filesystem. Its contents are not on your drive. /proc is an interface through which applications can interact with the kernel by way of an abstraction layer in the form of a hierarchy of files and directories.
Also, as noted by @TriMoon and myself, the contents of anything you see as tmpfs in the df output do not exist on your drive either, but instead they reside in virtual memory. So if anything is filling up your drive, then that must by definition be something else.
I am able to successfully install LibreOffice 6.2 into a Linux container in Chrome OS 73 on my Samsung Chromebook Plus and my Acer Chromebook R11. The installation creates LO icons that can be activated within the native Chrome OS environment. When opening one of the LO apps (e.g. Writer), I am unable to access documents that are in my Google Drive. Actually, I cannot even access documents outside of the Linux container. If I want to edit a file in LO, I have to copy the file into a folder that resides in the Linux container using the Chrome OS file manager. Is this a limitation in LO or a limitation in Chrome OS?
This helped me to access the folders, especially by going to the files and right clicking and choosing the LibreOffice app from the menu. The doc would open but unfortunately there were errors when trying to save it.
I would like to access my "Google Drive" (remote) files and folders from within thunar. I am not just looking at a sync-method, but more like a thunar-native folder for the google-drive directory(s). How do i do that?
Once completed (rclone), you can create an autostart entry and the drive is mounted and shows up automatically in thunar. You can also create custom actions to mount/unmount on the fly if you so desire.
At first, trying to configure rclone appeared quite daunting. So instead i installed "expandrive", a highly-recommended GUI-app, and got that to work. Unfortunately, i found out later that "free" was only a 14-day trial. In addition, after about 30 minutes of useage it ended up degrading my 4-core i5 desktop to the point of saturation on all 4 cores -- both a deal-breaker.
Then i looked at odrive, as suggested, but observed that this offered a "free" trial period, too -- not interested. Then i looked into the new release of insync, but that requires a one-time fee; again, not interested.
where "goog:" is the name of the connection-setup to my google-drive in my config file, "My-Drive" the folder on the google-drive to be used by rclone, and "/GoogleDrive" is the mount point in my home partition, simply a new folder in my home directory.
Works like a charm: shows up in thunar like my other [thumb-]drives and file systems/partitions, drag-n-drop and copy/paste work as expected. I still have to work through the permissions setup to be able to create & update libre-office docs. If i run into any problems, i'll let you know...

i use KDE on EnedavourOS: There is a KDE Plasma Desktop environment also provides a Google Drive integration to its file manager Dolphin. It is achieved through KIO GDrive, a KIO-Slave that enables KIO-aware applications (such as Dolphin, Kate, or Gwenview) to access and edit Google Drive files on the cloud. It is available to install from all native repositories. Furthermore, it requires signing in with KDE Online Accounts to access the drive. Unlike the Gnome counterpart, this one loads the GDrive directory under the network directory. Each time we try to modify a file, it is copied to a local cache directory. Once you finish modifying a file, it will prompt you to upload the modified file to GDrive.

Finally, open up Dolphin and click on Network in the panel on the left. Click (double click if you have that set) on the Google Drive folder and then on the folder with name of your Google account. Your Google Drive folders & files should be visible and accessible.
This has me stumped. My Thunderbird profile had filled up my primary disk so I am trying to move it to my secondary data drive. I've tried every trick that I've found, but have concluded that most advice is too Windows-centric for my situation.

However there are some constants. The profile.ini is the master location for determining where profiles live.The IsRelative in profiles.ini is usually missed by the manual editing fraternity, so they point to a profile as /dev/sdb1/DOCUMENTS/.thunderbird/luw2i6y9.default/ leave the IsRelative to 1 so Thunderbird goes looking for to profile in a sub folder of the folder holding the profiles.ini file.
As said before, this isn't a vaild path./dev/sdb1 is a device, not a folder in the file system.Keep .thunderbird at it's original location.Only copy over the profile folder.Use a valid path in profiles.ini.

MOUNT.COM is a command inside DOSBox that can connect physical folders and drives to virtual drives inside DOSBox. The mounted drive does not automatically refresh files changed out side of DOSBox. You can refresh these files on all mounted drives by activating the Swap Image event (Hot key: Ctrl F4) to have access to changed files automatically when, for example, the drive is mapped as a floppy.
Note that the Linux path is absolute and case-sensitive. If you insert a disc in the CD ROM or DVD ROM drive and mount it on your Linux system, or have it set up to auto-mount when the disc is inserted, then use Nautilus to browse to the /media directory, you will see the label of the CD as a folder therein.
