I've had it installed and playing perfectly. Today it said it's missing the steam_api.dll. I downloaded and copied a steam_api.dll file into the main folder. Now it's saying '... Unable to start correctly (0xc0000142)'
The steam_api.dll File is a DLL (Dynamic Link Library) System File provided by Microsoft for Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10, and earlier Versions. I've completed modding FNV using F&L and when I start up the game using 4GBFNV, I see the intro cinematics but my mouse disappears and I cannot use either my mouse or keyboard. The menu also never comes up. When ctrl-alt-deleting and clicking on FNV, I am greeted with an error that I'm missing steam_api.dll, then another that says I'm missing binkw32.dll. issue 4: After doing that it compiled but complained about some missing DLLs (sdkencryptedappticket.dll and steam_api.dll missing). The steam_api.dll can be found in the redistributable_bin folder and the sdkencryptedappticket.dll in public\steam\lib\win32. copy those to the debug and release folders (where you find the built .exe).
