Winter Storm Watch and Weekend Schedule

Dear Cathedral Family,

We have a big weekend planned this coming Saturday and Sunday, but even the best laid plans sometimes have to be adjusted. The serious warnings about the winter storm weather for the DFW area include freezing rain, sleet, snow, and very cold temperatures. 

We are scheduled to receive twelve Catechumens on Saturday, beginning at 1pm. However, if everything is covered in ice on Saturday morning, we will move these receptions to Saturday, January 31st. I will let the families know and send out another email on Saturday morning when we know more. 

If the conditions are bad enough, we will make a call by 2pm, to cancel Saturday evening, and Sunday morning services. That would also mean that we will move our Annual Meeting from this Sunday after Liturgy, to the following Sunday, February 1st. 

These are tentative plans, and we won't know if this will be necessary, but everyone should be aware, be safe, and plan accordingly.
