Dear St. Seraphim,

Blessed Holy Tuesday!  I hope you have all had a wonderful Lenten journey.  I wanted to invite you and all of your kids to the activities we have planned for Holy Friday.

As many of you know, Holy Friday is a beautiful time of preparation where the women in the church "gather at the tomb" and make preparations for Pascha.  Here are a few details and reminders to help you...

-Ages 7+ will help assemble flower arrangements for the tomb.  We may have a lot of kids here so if you want to guarantee that your child will get to help, plan to arrive promptly at 10:00am.

-Younger children will work on a few table decorations for Pascha (see photo).  Older children are welcome to join us after they help with the tomb.

-As time permits, we will also work on cleaning the Parish Hall (including upstairs) and the playground.  Please wear comfortable clothes and bring rags/buckets if you have any.  We will plan to finish between 12:00 and 1:00pm.

-Please bring your own sack lunches or snacks and clean up after your family.

Finally, just a reminder to please supervise your children during these activities.  A parent should be present on the Church grounds at all times.

In Christ,
Stephanie
