Nativity Monastery Workday on June 13th

Monastery Work Day – St. Seraphim and St. Sava are joining forces for fellowship and hands-on service at Nativity of Our Lord Monastery in Kemp, Texas on Saturday, June 13, starting at 10 AM.

The main project is weeding-eating and brush clearing around the ponds, however there may be some smaller tasks around the chapel and Retreat Center. If you have weed-eaters, hedge clippers, trimming shears, etc. please bring them. However, some equipment and PPE will be on hand if needed.

This is a wonderful opportunity for the men of our parishes to serve together, enjoy the peaceful beauty of the monastery, and strengthen our parish community in the spirit of Christian love. Parishioners, inquirers, catechumens, and teens are warmly encouraged to participate. Lunch will be provided for all volunteers, and transportation can be arranged if needed.
