Hello everyone (again):

I just wanted to let you know that I have attached a .pdf document to this email which contains the new liturgy for this Sunday and afterwards until I receive my priestly ordination when we will be evolving to a much more complex rubric.

Please read this over.  A lot of it will be the same however I have made some significant changes.

The first thing is that the proper liturgical posturing (when to sit and stand...i.e. Gnostic Yoga) is placed within the program.  When I wrote this, I had in my mind's eye us sitting on the floor Zen-style.  The only postures in this program are standing and sitting, however we will add kneeling (for those who can and are comfortable) whenever we are able to institute the Sacrament of the Eucharist.  Until then, just standing and Indian-style sitting.

I exchanged a line in the Rite of Invocation from the Song of Solomon (6:60)...nothing too major there.

I changed the opening of the Gospel to fit our image as St. Eve's and also to invoke our matriarchial leanings.

The Rite of Contrition is completely revamped to be more poetic and again to invoke a more feminine energy.

Lastly, I changed a word in the "Prayer of the Master".  The original begins as "O Birther of the Cosmos" but "birther" is a weird word and we have substituted that word in the past for "Progenitor" and more recently "Source", however to again align ourselves with the Maternal Mysteries, we are now going to begin by saying, "O Womb of the Cosmos".

All of this is subject to change as we change however that will not be for sometime and I think that we have nailed down all of the little kinks in the system for now.  I think that these slight changes will help for a more beautiful and poetic flow to our liturgy and at the same time helps us look at things like Church and God in a new manner.

May the Sacred Flame burn brightly within you:
