Hello fellow Johannites:
This email is a reminder that tomorrow we are continuing our book study by going over pages 39-52. We will not be re-reading it as we will be here all night if we did and discussion on top of that, so please come prepared. There will be a test afterward...maybe. However, do not feel as if you can not attend because you did not read the text. There is still plenty to learn and much brain-food to absorb even outside of the text.
Also please be sure to check out our calendar that I sent out the other day. Not only is it strikingly beautiful, but it also is full of information about church, information that you need to know. For example, did you know that there is a week coming up where there are 4 services in that one week? If you had checked out the calendar, you would have. Am I right? :) Paper copies will be available at church for the next few weeks.
Also, sometime this weekend, probably right after I send this one, I will be sending out the minutes from the Pride Meeting we had last month. This month's goal is to collect information and make a decision about shirts and other apparel for the event. Pride Committee (which in reality is everyone, but no matter): do you think that we can get together soon to discuss these matters? Thanks.
Also, I am moving. For now, we will be still meeting in New Cumberland and when we are ready I will make everyone aware of the transition to the new rectory location.
And lastly, I would just like to remind everyone that until we get approval for Articles of Incorporation and thus a checking account, donations to the church in the form of checks should be written out to "Joseph McCauslin" with "St. Eve" placed in the memo. As always your generous contributions are always appreciated as we continue to build a spiritual home that we can call our own and will pass down to others in the future.
In Service to you all: RMJ
