Laxmi Cares is a registered NGO established and managed by the staffs of Laxmi Bank. It is the theme under which Laxmi Bank family invests in the community we live in, selecting limited programs in which we believe we can make a positive impact. Our community work is basically a partnership with implementing agencies that provide the experience and the expertise while we support their work through financial support and staff time.
As part of the "Ujyaalo Abhiyaan" under “Go Green” campaign, the 7th Annual Laxmi Cares Mountain Bike Rally is being held on Saturday, April 4th 2015. This is an annual event aimed at creating awareness and raising funds to assist Ujyaalo Abhiyaan project which aims to continue in it's journey to light various sites in Nepal with historical, architectural and heritage values or any other charitable causes. In the previous years, Ujyaalo Abhiyaan installed solar lights at Bagmati Bridge, Patan Durbar Square, Bhadrakali-Singh Durbar and Chandeswori Temple – Banepa.
