Sairam !

 

Many of us had the golden opportunity of chanting Vedam in HIS divine presence during the Parthi Yatra in October last year. Now we have one more golden opportunity of being an instrument in Swami's mission of Veda Rakshana and Veda Poshana. 

A Vedam workshop titled 'Sai Veda Poshana' is organised in Brindavan on 28th February 2016 (Sunday). We are fortunate to have experts like Shri Veda Narayanan sir, Shri G R Praveena sir, Dr N Shivakumar sir & Dr G S Srirangarajan sir from Swami's institutions to guide through the course of this session. 

A vedam workshop is essentially a session where we get to know the meaning of the chosen mantra, the nuances of chanting it, Insights of the mantra and its relevance to daily life, thereby equipping us to teach the mantra. Chosen mantra for this session is Purusha Suktham. 

Program Details :

07:00 AM - Breakfast and assemble at Kalyana Mantap. 

08:15 AM - Invocation prayer and Veda chanting.

08:30 AM - Welcome address, Introduction and Objectives.

08:45 AM - Motivational talk on need and relevance of Veda Poshana by Shri K Vedanarayanan, Faculty, Sri Sathya Sai Higher Secondary School, Puttaparthi

09:30 AM - Group Veda chanting

09:45 AM - Nuances of Veda chanting by Shri G R Praveena, Faculty, Sri Sathya Sai Higher Secondary School, Puttaparthi

10:30 AM - Group Veda chanting

10:35 AM - Tea break.

10:50 AM - Purusha Suktham Insights and relevance to daily life by Dr N Sivakumar, Faculty, SSSIHL Brindavan campus

11:30 AM - Panel discussion, Q&A by Faculty and Alumni of Sri Sathya Sai institutions moderated by Dr G S Srirangarajan SSIHL, Brindavan campus

12:00 PM - Technical Break out session -1 (1:1 Sessions for trainers with Guru)

12:00 PM – Address by Dr Ravikumar, Warden Sri Sathya Sai Hostel, Brindavan campus (Parallel track) 

13:00 PM – Lunch

14:00 PM - Technical Break out session -2 (1:1 sessions for trainers with Gurus)

15:00 PM - Demo of Lesson plan by Dr N Sivakumar, Faculty, SSSIHL Brindavan Campus

15:30 PM - Wrap up, follow up instructions.

15:45 PM – Mahamangala Aarthi.
