Our discussion on the 30^th August and the proposal of this Consultation on the 9^th in principle refers.  Also another email from Jenny to her own Regional Support Management also refers.  That is still set to continue from her Manager, now set for the 15^th October.  I still do not have a correct or working email for Fuad Moerat – please will Lilian please forward this to him.

Meeting at DWA on the 9^th September 2013  - Jenny Evans, Niel van Wyk, Tommy Havenga, Kennedy Mandaza

·        Informal consultation to continue

·        Consultation with Regional Heads of DWA namely Mpumalanga, KZN and Gauteng is required.

·        Approach to be led by case situations and project value

·        Enabling municipal performance

·        Alignment to blue drop

·        Alignment to appropriate capital funding

·        Availability of information from DWA

·        Jenny strong on obtaining buy-in from MM’s

·        Entry points would be control in nature with skills transfer

 

Meeting with Allestair Wensley – 9^th September 2013

·        Identified and offered Municipal Self Service Assessments (MuSSA – 24 Districts) reports.  The MPAP’s (Municipal Priority Action Reports) provided leverage for NRW-IAM implementation.  Suggested alignment of efforts by Emanti (Grant Mackintosh) and or others.   This will leverage ownership and or PPT-type finance.

·        Master planning process under Steven Marais.  Master-planning Requirements and via Sub-contracting  may be a particular opportunity for NRW-IAM application.
