search text fragments

The search feature becomes most powerful when it is able to locate fragments of words and numbers. At present the search feature looks for coincidence withe the first letters in a word or number. It would be better to have an automatic or selectable letter group search for any part of a text.

When entering you search value (This is only in search) if you put an * (asterisk) at the start of a value, it will search anywhere in the word.

I also got UNICODE value searching working.

Would the search update apply to creating column filters? No easy to search for embedded keywords within a particular column.
