salmon/alevin support for additional single cell gex protocols

Hello,

Do you anticipate adding support for alternative single cell gene expression protocols as done here:

https://github.com/hms-dbmi/dropEst#protocols

I am curious about support for SPLiT-seq in particular which has the 3-part cell barcode + UMI configuration in read 2.

It would be great to have out-of-the-box support for alternate protocols esp to evaluate the impact of retaining reads that map to multiple genes.
