It is indeed unbelievable that this kind of media thuggery exists behind the glossy ‘ holier – than –thou ‘ stage that this program promotes itself on.
We should all be more than affronted by the violation of our most basic natural rights let alone those offered by our legal system.
The most recent actions around the boat club and Ian’s home touches everyone in this little forum in one way or another . It also surely provides the best evidence so far for legal restraint to be put in place as soon as possible. Obviously this requires clear path for the suitably equipped legal eagles to go to work as soon as possible on Ian’s behalf..
Beyond that I think it probably calls for friends , colleagues and supporters to start to out ‘blog’ these pricks and also begin some documented questioning of politicians and bureaucrats on their support of fair process.
I have been around these sort of campaigns by media and “protesters” for a lot of years and around government long enough to see the effect of focussed efforts by a relatively small amount of people.
Perhaps something to think about apart from giving Ian our general support.
