Dear All,

1. Greetings & good wishes to all your families & you in this Telugu New Year.

2. I 'm very very happy to share the fantastic news of 18 (Eighteen) Saikorians (17 NDA & 01 TES) being selected to join NDA/CTW (Cadet Training Wing) in Jun 2018. All this has been made possible due to the untiring efforts of Col Atri, our present Principal & his dedicated team. Please join me in congratulating them for this excellent result & here's wishing them all the very best in their future endeavours to make more Saikorians join the portals of NDA (CTW/OTA/IMA/etc).

3. This wonderful news coupled with another information shared by elder Saikorians set me thinking. The other information is that senior batches are visiting Korukonda and reliving the unforgettable memories that 've made us what we are today. In particular two batches visited school recently - Batch of 1972 of School Captain V Chacko (Roll No. 650) & Batch of 1974 of Maj Gen MR Babu, SM (Retd) (Roll No. 738).

4. V Chacko was our school captian and we looked up to him & so many more role model seniors. He's presently successfully settled in USA. Likewise, Gen Babu was our senior in Gupta House. Excellent Athlete & Basket Ball player. In a similar vien we 've numerous Saikorians from all walks of life who 've acquitted themselves very well and who continue to be role models to fellow Saikorians and society at large.

5. My suggestion is can't we 've these role model Saikorians visiting school & interacting with the impressionable youngsters so that we 've the benefit of their rich & vast experience etc benefitting the Saikorians in school ? We need not scout for Guest Speakers etc.
