Happy Monday! J

Why the dichotomy? There is a better way to live, to be both happy and successful. In fact, we can succeed out of happiness than for happiness!

There are 3 aspects that make a person happy in his/her chosen area of work:

1.    Passion about the field of activity

2.    Competence in that area

3.    The economic engine that runs well – compensation for the work

There are people who are having one or two of the above, but not all, leading to some lag as they go along. This is also the reason why people are either happy or successful. Suppose an individual, (and most are in this category) has only item 2 and 3 above, they are unhappy and stressed at work.  The heart is missing!  This is the reason why people wake up with a sense of resignation, work and get back home dead tired.  On the contrary, anyone who is passionate about their work will wake up with resolve and look forward to it; with a whistle!

While the above three aspects are at a basic level, there are deeper aspects that determine holistic success! For enduring success, both inner victory and the outer, work needs to be a continuum starting from passion.

But why should one be passionate? What are the higher aspects that passion is connected to? Our ancient seers gave us a blue print for a Value based approach to Success that stems from supreme levels of consciousness.

Wishing you a passionate week!

Best Regards,

Siddharth…
