Dear Mr. George,
I would like to recollect our long business relationship and I take this opportunity to approach you with a personal request.
My son Nimesh has been diagnosed with a rare blood cancer called “Hepatosplenic T-Cell Lymphoma”. He is now about to start his second of three chemo cycles and will be requiring a donor to match his stem cell marrow in six weeks time. Unfortunately, our family members are not a match. We are therefore in search of locating a suitable donor. Flyers giving further details are attached.
I appeal to you to raise awareness and direct your friends and associates to register as donors, for this noble cause. The registration and testing g process is very simple indeed; one only needs to be between ages of 18 - 50 years, fill-out a form and provide a cheek swab. If you are lucky enough to be able to save a life, the donation process of stem cell /marrow cell is equally simple. You will be able to give the gift of life without hurting yourself.
The cost of the test is Dhs.175/- per person, and I earnestly request you to sponsor / share costs for tests and also to depute persons who are willing to be paying donors to Al Ahmadiah Head Office in Jaffliya on Friday, the 22nd February, 2013 between 10.00 a.m. and 2.00 p.m., where check swabs will be collected and sent them to U.S. for tests to determine the suitability.
