Dear Music lovers and well wishers,
We at EKATA (Expatriate Keralites Association for Tradition & Arts) have great pleasure in inviting you with family and friends to the Navarathri Mandapam Sangeethotsavam 2012 being held in Sharjah (Indian Association, Conference Hall) on the occasion of "Navarathri" i.e. 15 October to 23 October 2012 daily from 7 PM to 10 PM.
This is the first of its kind programme in the Middle East or rather outside India and we are sure that it will mark a milestone in the history of Carnatic music. 27 renowned and senior artists including major artists from India and more than 30 junior artists will be joining EKATA to submit musical offering on this auspicious occasion. Facility for Arangettam (initial performance) by children will be arranged on Friday and Saturday (19th and 20th October) from 4 pm to 7 pm. Musical offering in the form of 2 Concerts each of 45 minutes at 7 pm and 7.45 pm respectively by senior artists and a major concert with special Navarathri Keerthan of Maharaja Swathi Thirunal (in the same tradition of Thiruvananthapuram Navarathri Mandapam) by renowned and major artist from 8.30 pm to 10 pm will be rendered on each day.
