Role Description

OptumCare is seeking a Senior SailPoint NERM & ISC Developer to lead the design, development, and implementation of identity governance solutions with a primary focus on Non-Employee Risk Management (NERM) and SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC). This role will drive secure and compliant identity lifecycle management for contractors, vendors, and other non-employees, leveraging the latest cloud-native SailPoint ISC capabilities. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams — including security architects, application owners, and compliance stakeholders — to deliver scalable, policy-aligned identity solutions in a modern cloud environment.

 

Required Skills

·        SailPoint certifications (e.g., ISC Certified Implementation Engineer).

·        Knowledge of NERM-specific risk scoring and access governance models in cloud environments.

·        Experience with cloud-based identity platforms and hybrid environments.

·        Familiarity with Optum or healthcare industry IAM requirements.

·        Experience with Agile methodologies and DevSecOps practices.

 

Desired Skills

·        US Citizen based in the United States able to pass a public trust background check.

·        5+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) with a focus on SailPoint platforms, including ISC.

·        2+ years of experience implementing NERM or third-party identity governance solutions in cloud environments.

·        Proficiency in Java, BeanShell, XML, REST/SOAP APIs, and cloud integration technologies.

·        Strong understanding of identity lifecycle processes, RBAC, and access certification in cloud-native platforms.

·        Experience integrating SailPoint ISC with Active Directory, Azure AD, ServiceNow, and HR systems.

·        Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as HIPAA, HITRUST, and SOX.

·        Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

·        Strong verbal and written communication skills.
